Spring bride socks / Kevätmorsian sukat
Last spring, I saw a picture of the most beautiful lace socks on Novitaknits' Facebook page. I absolutely love to knit socks, and I have made countless pairs so far, but for some reason I don't have a single pair of long thin socks. I decided I need these socks in my life mainly because of the intricate beauty of the pattern. The pattern is free on Novita's website (available in English as well!). I used the Novita Venla yarn, which the pattern calls for, but instead of the off-white in the pattern, I chose light pink.
The pattern is fully charted and in my opinion easy to follow. I, however, took my time in making these socks. I had this project as a travel knit for those times when the garment projects were so big that I didn't want to carry them around in train. The pattern calls for 150 grams of yarn but mine only weigh 96 grams, so I still have quite a bit of yarn leftover. This means that I need to search for more lovely sock patterns! See details of this project in my Ravelry page.
Ohje on ilmaisena Novitan sivuilla. Ohjeen mukaisesti käytin Novitan Venla -lankaa, mutta luonnonvalkoisen sijaan valitsin vaalean pinkin värin.
